Two new houses were designed to replace three in a terrace of four. The existing houses were derelict and due for demolition, this development served to revitalise this neglected mews in North London.
Sustainability was an important consideration in the design of these houses. The height of the new houses were designed to fit nicely next to the last remaining Victorian terraced house, the original 19th century bricks were reused alongside timber cladding and concrete providing high thermal mass. Each interior is unique and designed to the individual owner’s specific needs.
